Our founder, David Martelle, served in the US Navy for over 21 years. After retiring as a Chief Electronics Technicain from Fleet Technical Support Center Pacific at Pearl Harbor, he was offered and accepted a civilian position providing technical assistance to Navy Units throughout the Pacific. After six years of civil service and a six month contract designing software for Lockheed-Martin, he was recruited by Mazak Optonics as a laser engineer installing industrial lasers throughout North America. This was a valuable educational experience giving insight into nearly every aspect of industrial design & manufacturing from small job shops to the big guys like Caterpillar, John Deere, NASA and countless others. Nine years later, after moving to Florida, he decided to put away the suitcase and follow his dream of being an inventor. David obtained his first U.S. patent in 2018.
